Dr Taylor Taylor is a licensed Chiropractor who graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2011 and New York Chiropractic College in 2015, where she was named to the Dean’s List. At JMU, Taylor worked at the University Recreation Center as an Operations Supervisor and helped train the University’s athletic teams. She has always had a passion for sports chiropractic. As a high school runner, she suffered an injury that forced her to train in the pool for over 2 months. After visiting multiple physicians and seeing little progress, she found a great sports chiropractor that, through soft-tissue work, was able to help her return to competition within days. This experience inspired her to make a career in helping individuals achieve their physical goals quickly and efficiently.
Dr. Taylor is full body certified in Active Release Technique and believes that this soft tissue method is vital to successfully treating a number of musculoskeletal complaints.
Dr. Taylor completed her education at Walter Reed National Medical Military Center, where she had the privilege of treating many active duty men and women. She had the opportunity to work with a variety of musculoskeletal complaints in a comprehensive medical setting. Dr. Taylor is interested in working with other health care professionals (like massage therapists) in order to provide the best care for her patients.
